All India institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is an autonomous Institution of national importance that awards its own medical degrees, diplomas and other academic distinctions. The degrees awarded by the Institute are recognised medical qualifications for the purpose of the Indian Medical Council Act and equivalent and treated at par with medical degrees conferred by other Universities.

AIIMS EXAM PATTERN

The Competitive Entrance Examination for admission to the MBBS Course for AIIMS New Delhi and other Fourteen AIMS is being conducted through a Computer Baked Test (CBT) Online mode of examination. The examination centers are teritatively proposed in 145 cities all over India.

The duration of the examination will be of 3 hours duration and will have one paper consisting of 200 objective type multiple choice and assertion-reason type questions from Physics, Chemistry Biology and General Knowledge/Aptitude.
